Camp Sunday Schedule – Leader Notes

Sunday Morning Responsibilities

Guys

  • Pack the trailer.

Ladies

  • Handle camper check-in.

  • Collect canteen money.

  • Help prepare lunch.

9:00 AM – Camper Arrival

Luggage Drop-Off

Campers will bring suitcases and sleeping bags to the Fellowship Hall.

  • Pink ribbon on girls’ luggage.

  • Blue ribbon on boys’ luggage.

  • Label every suitcase and sleeping bag with the camper’s name using painter’s tape.

Check-In (Welcome Center)

After dropping off luggage, campers should report to the Welcome Center.

At check-in:

  • Collect any remaining canteen money.

  • Verify medications and allergies.

  • Receive any medications with instructions if they weren’t turned in previously.

  • Confirm emergency contact information.

  • Make sure every camper has been checked in before heading to Bible Study.

Once finished, send campers to Bible Study (if time allows).

Note: Anyone not helping with luggage or check-in should begin setting up and preparing lunch.

10:30 AM – Worship Service

  • Campers will sit with their assigned group leaders.

  • Group leaders are responsible for keeping track of their campers throughout the morning.

  • Campers will remain in the worship service until the Children’s dismissal.

  • During the service we’ll bring the campers forward for a prayer of commissioning.

  • Following prayer, campers will be dismissed to lunch.

11:15 AM – Lunch

  • Eat lunch.

  • Bathroom break.

  • Fill water bottles if needed.

  • Final medication check.

  • Leaders should do a quick head count before leaving the Fellowship Hall.

12:00 PM – Departure

Before loading:

  • Parents may tell campers goodbye.

  • Load campers onto assigned vehicles.

  • Complete one final head count before departure.

  • Pray together before pulling out.

Then we’ll head to Camp Living Waters!

Before We Leave

  • Trailer completely loaded and secured.

  • All suitcases and sleeping bags labeled.

  • Church cleaned up.

  • All medications accounted for.

  • Attendance verified.

  • Every camper assigned to a vehicle.

  • Head count completed.

  • Parents have said their goodbyes.

  • Pray together, then depart.

TRAVEL AND GROUP ARRANGEMENTS

TRUCK AND TRAILER

Brandon Talley will be driving his truck and towing the luggage trailer. No other adults will be able to ride with him.

Please Note: Country will be leaving on Tuesday at Lunch. When he leaves, we’ll need Gavin and Nate to absorb his kids. Cordero Mark will be taking his place for the rest of the time.

Please Note: Marcus will be leaving early Wednesday. Mr. Kelton Collins will be driving the church bus back home on Wednesday.
