THE WHEEL: Following Jesus Every Day

What does it really mean for a kid to follow Jesus?

Beginning Wednesday, August 12, Kingdom Kids is starting a brand-new 10-week discipleship journey called THE WHEEL!

From August 12–October 14, we'll help our kids discover some of the most important parts of growing as a disciple:

• Jesus at the Center — He saves me and leads me
• The Word — God speaks to me
• Prayer — I speak to God
• Fellowship — I grow with God's people
• Witnessing — I tell others about Jesus
• Obedience — I put my faith into action

Our teaching will be based in part on the discipleship principles found in Rebecca Ruybalid Stone's Discipleship for Kids: Helping Children Grow in Christ, a resource several of our leaders were introduced to at Children's Camp this summer. It uses The Navigators' classic Wheel illustration to help children understand what a growing relationship with Jesus looks like.

Our goal isn't simply for kids to know more about Jesus. We want to help them learn how to walk with Jesus every day.
